I bet you've never...

hmmm... this could be a new feature on my blog. I'll call it "I bet you've never".

and then I'll follow that with a statement or story like...

You know sometimes you just don't want to leave the house to go and grocery shop, so, you make do with what you've got. I don't have a lot in my cupboards or fridge. But I kinda felt like nachos for dinner tonight.

Let's just say I had the ingredients to make them, except for one ingredient: corn chips. But I did have chips... Smith's Salt & Vinegar.

I'll stop now you don't need me to say much more - but let's just say that my food experiment didn't work. Who'd of thought?

Hmmmm, it sounds like it should be a winner. Maybe next time try cheese and onion chips instead.

You have no idea how funny this seemed coming immediately after this in my blog-roll.

Thanks for coming today, and thanks for that thoughtful prezzie, which will make the day last many years into the future

I tried salt & vinegar hula-hoops instead of croutons in soup a long time ago. Not sure if you have hula-hoops in Oz but if you do, you simply MUST give them a go. Cheese and Onion go well in campbells mushroom soup too...

Full marks for creativity Muz!

Reminds me of my weekend culinary adventure...I made a very tomatoey curry on Saturday. The left over sauce became the base for pasta matriciana on Sunday (I swear the curry taste was imperceptable). My partner drew the line when I suggested that the remainder could probably be turned into a meaty sauce for tacos for tonight.

Cool new site banner and agree with AR, full marks for creativity. My bf & I are far less creative if we don't feel like leaving the house, we will just hit one of the cuisine courier services

Too bad you weren't hungry for beer soup, with a little apple juice on the side.

This is only made all the worse in the knowledge that there is a supermarket ONE BLOCK from your house.
