Holding back the years...

1. My all time favourite photo. Mum and me.
2. MMMmmm cake batter.
3. My parents raced greyhounds. This one's name was Tiger.
4. Scrub up all right, don't I?
5. The 70's were cool.
6. The 80's were cruel. Angry young man waiting for a cab. But check out the dude in the background! What's he come as? Yes, even his shoes were white!.

the 80s were indeed cruel...in retrospect, everyone looks like they are auditioning for an English band.

I was so faux-Morrisseyed up, it's embarrassing.

You think the 80's were cruel to you? I had hair like Princess Di's! It's more like Prince Charles' these days...
Great pics - you were fabulously moody in the 80's tho - very Depeche Mode.
My! How you've blossomed.

Be thankful you didn't have my very 70s lime green* confirmation outfit to go with my Princess Di hair.

* IIRC the shirt had a lime paisley pattern

I don't believe it - you went to that Pseudo Echo concert in Ipswich in about 1982, didn't you ?

I think as you get older you find a dressing style that suits and wear that permanently, but as a teenager you go with the current styles and sadly for you that occurred in the 80's ! Be pleased you got thru it :)

You've changed so much - what a little blondie you were - always a handsome chap though !

As for the 80's photo - I like it - kinda angsty. I bet you listened to The Smiths too :)
