Have you ben in that place 12 months !! Sheeeeeet, time flies !!

So what did you make ?

PS Got my oven on now, just toasting some breadcrumbs from a leftover loaf of bread. :)

Was that an attempt to incinerate cockroaches, or a real culinary effort?

peter: It survived cooking.

CB: You're doing what now for why?

Mike: It was hardly a culinary effort. I was in the supermarket today (I know, another shock) to get some groceries. But while I was there it all became too much and I decided that since I was not going to be at home for the next 4 nights, buying food was a waste of time. As I turned to leave there were these pizzas sitting on the shelf in the cold section. Hey, I like pizza and I do have to eat tonight AND they're ONLY $3.30... so let's give one of them a go.

Now having cooked it, I've decided that even for a $3.30 dinner it wasn't worth turning on the oven. *sigh* Actually, thinking about it now, maybe I needed to cook it longer - it did seem rather doughey.

Never mind Muzbot - just go back to drying your socks in it...
Some chaps just weren't meant to slave over a hot stove, they just cope with one pan and a network of friendly chefs....

Breadcrumbs - what else do you use left over bread for ? Actually cooked myself a nice piece of pork in breadcrumbs flavoured in fennel, sage and turmeric. It was delicious. If you ever get down here, maybe I'll cook something for you :)

Shop-bought, frozen Pizza - ugggh - shudders.

How do you turn on an oven?

Mike said...

Victor - if rubbing yourself up and down its front doesn't work, try licking the knobs

Obviously a defining moment in the life of muzbot blogspot!

More comments on this one than all of your blog entries this month. Must be a high brow audience.

Maximum comments for so little work. I'll bet that deep down you're glowing with pride and you're a bit of a 'comments whore' on the quiet....
Such triumph. I'm now considering ways to slash all of my future posts to the marrow in order to achieve comments of biblical proportions.

Stay tuned. Tomorrow Muz irons!

Victor said...

Good grief, the ironing too! Can the laundry be far behind?

Muzbot said...

Oh, c'mon now... I've ironed.

Mike said...

Oh yes of course: the cooking apron!
