Paperclips

Wow. Did you know that it requires 57 paperclips linked together to reach my height. So here's a picture of them.

Hi Muz, without doing the math, is that the 35mm or 50mm variety? Pete

er... you know this because?

You experimented for which reasons?

Maybe you have a wee bit too much time on your hands.
How long's you bike in paperclips? I may get sucked into this...

Interesting things paperclips. Invented in Norway, they were also used as a form of anti-Nazi protest during the Holocaust.

When the Nazis invaded Norway, they banned the wearing of any badges bearing the image of the exiled King. The only badges allowed were the yellow stars to be worn by Jews, so that they could easily be identified and dispatched to concentration camps. As a protest, non-Jewish Norwegians began to wear paper-clips affixed to pockets, collars, cuffs and hemlines because the paper-clip's function was to bind things together.

Also, just as a further interesting fact, a paperclip weighs about 1 gram.

I think I've become a paperclip nerd.

ok, i gotta protest!
the post on fonts was bad,but i kept my mouth shut. but a post on paperclips is even worse!

the things that people like about your blog (from my perspective) is the fact that you are able to reflect & reveal yourself. posts about paper clips are kind banal.

sorry for the harshness - but i believe that you can do better
