I love this time of year. Although, this year, I'll be spending it alone. Not the happiest thought.

I saw Touching the Void at the movies and was glued to the screen. I am very tempted to buy it as I've seen it selling for about $12 in a number of places. I also loved reading Jon Krakauer's "Into Thin Air". I think I am an armchair adrenaline (sp?) junkie.
You also work in a nice end of town!

Nutmeg: I'll see what I can do about getting you a version of MTM that might work on your dvd player.... Go and get the Void dvd. The extras are very interesting. I just finished "Into Thin Air" last week. A great read, but I found it hard to keep track of who was who and who was with which group in the book. Will have to read it again in the future. Loved it though. It's given me a greater insight into what is required to climb Everest.
