bland - blănd:

lacking either stimulating or irritating characteristics.

There is something very average about the colours here. Take a closer look. Where is the contrast between hair, face and shirt?

As a designer, I'm very interested in colour. Hue and tone can portray your taste and personality. It was pointed out to me last week that Andrew G, from The Contest, was very achromatic. I checked this out last night and guess what?... These 3 colours below are the average colour samples from Andrew G. These three colours represent: comfortable, homey, warm, gentle and elegant. BORING.

"Did you know"
These three colours also can be represented by food. These foods are matsutake mushroom, clear soup and dried cuttle fish and these colours were fashionable between 1100AD and 1400AD with Chinese ceramic designers.

Well, I never new that - you prove the point Muz, there’s depth in everything, nothing’s an accident - but seems that way if we are asleep to the meaning. So what do we find underneath the bland? Interestingly purple is the colour the christian church uses to represent Easter - it was explained to me as being a ‘sorry colour’, in that context anyway. I think living a life is like a colouring in competition, the person who wins has no paint left over at the end.
Have you seen www.colorjack.com/ they have a widget for OSX too.
So here’s to full paint tins!

If he was wearing bright coloured clothes it would take the focus of his monotonous, droning voice.

He really doesn't have the makings of a gameshow host. I have a habit of flicking that show on when its down to the last 2 contestants and its almost exciting.

See that arrogant, fat, american bitch go down? And she tried to fold at the last minute? And she missed it?!! Gold.

And what about his ugly co-host? Maybe she is there to make him look more attractive.

Worse news: Rove is back on TV on Sunday night.

That's really interesting! That's the great thing about blogging - you find out all sorts of stuff that you would never normally get to know! And yes, as DD mentioned, it does show that there is much more planning in these shows than we think!
