8 Things meme:

I've been sitting on this one for awhile, and it seems I'm probably one of the last regulars in the blog-o-sphere to publish it. So here goes:

1. I can't stand that tv schedules are over-populated with pointless variations of "same, same but different" crime shows. They have stopped me watching TV. I haven't even owned a Television set for over 12 months. Mostly my TV viewing habits now consist of selecting a TV series on DVD and watching it on my mac. These are usually documentaries or British comedies.

2. I have a crush on one of my friends... and very scared of that fact.

3. I have had some of my character illustrations exhibited in galleries in Nice, France :: Kastanienallee, Berlin :: Chicago, USA :: and soon in the UK. I was thrilled the day I could call myself an "international artist". It's something I was very proud of. Yet I kick myself that I haven't got the confidence to take my skills as an illustrator more seriously. I would love to do it as a career and be more like the people who truly inspire me creatively.

4. I have a fear of public speaking.

5. I love getting outdoors and doing things. This you know. But, did you know I crave company when I do it and I love it even more if it involves an element of sex or sexual tension. You have a better chance of getting me to do something if it involves walking in the bush, sitting on the edge of a cliff or something with an element of sexiness outdoors... Day or night. I'd rather do anything like that than go and see a movie or dance the night away in a club.

6. I'm very stubborn. It can cause countless arguments if I don't believe someone is understanding my point of view. I'm not great at expressing myself in words.

7. I had many pets growing up, my family used to own a pet shop. My favorite pet was a goose. She was a very nasty piece of work and would chase my sisters and nip at them, sometimes even drawing blood. She would even take on the German Shepard. But, I could go out into the yard and lie in the sun and she would come and snuggle into me and if I was on my back she would come and sit on my chest and nibble gently at my hair. I was devastated the day she died.

8. I have body piercings.

How sweet about you and your goose! I think the first time a pet dies is a very devastating thing for a kid! I still remember how I felt when my pet chicken died.

Who said I was a kid? :)

Hey Muz, I too remember how sad I was when my first pet died, I have a tattoo of my dog on my shoulder so when he passes away (Which I hope will never happen) I will be reminded of him every day, although when I'm 60, I don't think it will resemble the dog I once owned. You can't hold crushes and not share them, put this poor friend out of their misery, from what I've read, all of your mates would love you to have a crush on them, make somebodies day!!!
I like the sexual tension associated with an outing, I went to the Kimberley with a Boyfriend last year and we walked for 90 mins along these remote gorges to beautiful water holes, stripped naked and did things that scared the fish, the tension along the way was palpable. It is still one of my best memories, I look forward to similar experiences in my present relationship. Nobody likes Public Speaking, it rates as Mans biggest fear, the fear of Dying rates 6th. You are an awesome guy, if you are stubborn, those who know you will be able to deal with that and it's good to know that you are not perfect, although I discovered your other floor over a week ago when I found out that you didn't like watching tennis. When are we on for a game of Squash?

I have a crush on one of my friends too. It's hard because they are in a relationship, so I understand why you wouldn't say anything. Sometimes crushes are just that and not worth risking a friendship over. :)

1.I dont watch a lot of TV so can relate to your misery over the content...
2.Hmmm so do you think your friend would respond postively in knowing about your crush?
3.Kick a little harder & get your ass out there babe!
4.So do I - Big Time

Thanks Muzbot, these are great. Your way with people obviously translates to your way with animals.
Perhaps we could have had a bit more info re: 8! You could include that in the next meme!
